Hi... I have a child who is 6 years old. He is not able to sit in one place in his school, often hits someone and is eating all stationery things. I really don't know what could be or should be done. Also he is able to write by forgets easily and is not able to repeat things when he is writing. Please guide me.

The picture is of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD). However, many a times its also combined with autism or mental retardation.

Consult a psychiatrist. Your child might require medications and trust me, if it's ADHD, it's easily controllable and curable by medications.
Also, Get an IQ assessment of your child done to rule out mental retardation (possibility is minimal)
