Regular bolis on butt
I was shifted to mumbai in aug15. Since then i m having boils regularly on underarms n butt. I have been told by a doc to take augmentine 625. Since then every time i have a boil i take this meficine. But its very painfull n it takes 7 days to recover. Moreover it keep on occuring on regular intervals. Plz suggest.

Hi. Greetings. It may not be the best thing to do to pop antibiotics every time you have a boil. You may be have hidradenitis or recurrent furunculosis. Please see a good qualified dermatologist and get examined and evaluated for same. Pus culture from the boil may be required. If hidradenitis you may require long term treatment. If recurrent furunculosis, you'll require other measures of prevention and treatment. Hope this helps.
