Regesterone - Bleeding - My Doctor Ask Me To Take Norethisterone

My doctor ask me to take norethisterone for my prolonged periods 5mg morning and 5mg night...and it get stopped on the 3 Rd day of taking this tablet after which she asked to take this regesterone tablets 5mg for 21 days 11 days were passed...but now on 12th day I got some discharge??what is the reason for this and my periods date is usually 18 or 19 whether it may be a sign for my periods?whether bleeding will occur without stopping this tablet?
