Regarding tympanoplasty surgery
Hi I ubdergone tympanoplasty surgery on 10th may 2018, from yesterday I am observing some side effects, like, I unable control my lips while rinsing water, and feeling some of facial expressions are not in my control. Can you please let me know is this expected ? If so when can expect these can be resolved.

You may have developed delayed onset facial palsy which can occur after tympanoplasty. You should visit your doctor immediately so that treatment is started at the earliest. Usually it will recover with treatment
