My doctor prescribed esofag d tablet for 8 weeks. I got some relief only after 4 months. 4 months duration is chronic gastritis still why bacteria detecting test is not done ? Please answer in detail. I have not taken any painkillers, spicy , oily, milk etc foods,no addictions, still I got gastritis.what is the reason? Iam taking only Aten 50 &  gluconorm g 1 tablets. Because of recurring gastritis iam worried about malignancy.

It's a step wise approach,  first Endoscopy you do, followed by he may advise. And also better to ask him this question,  rather than asking some other doctor about his opinion, right.
