Regarding eye drops
Threee Questions I want to ask please. 1) Sir recently I suffered from allergy in my eyes then my doctor has given Olopat eye drop for twise a day. I used this eye drop almost for 2 months regularly. I want to ask that is this Olopat drop is *steroid eye drop* ? 2) Which is best lubricating eye drop I can use which has no side effect and best soothing effect. 3) I have Maxmoist lubricating eye drop. How is this and does it has any side effect? Please comment. Thank you.

olopat is nonsteroidal anti allergic.maxmoist is good ,can continue  with that.

Hello A.  Olopatadine or olopat is antiallergic eyedrop and it is not a steroid B.  Use may use lubricating eyedrop like refresh tears, lubrex etc C.  Max moist is also good lubricating eyedrop

Hi. Olopat is Olopatadine, a topical anti allergic medicine which is an Antihistamine. It is NOT a steroid. 2. Most Lubricating drops are generally good. There isnt any that is bad.Some to consider are ECOTEARS/GLYTEARS/REFRESH LIQUIGEL/LUBREX. 3.Lubricating drops like maxmoist generally dont have any side effects. So, if you are comfortable after using them, you can continue to use them. Regards, Srikanth.
