Regarding breast pain

My friend has breast pain . I dont khnow from when she has this problem but recenlty she told me that she has some pain in her breast . I am very worried about her after knowing this her mother also have breast cancer. She didn't want to tell to this problem to her mother then i convinced her for treatment . I am trying to bring her to a doctor . please tell me what it is she is very worried after knowing that breast cancer is genetic. Help me please. I would be very thankful to you mam/sir

Self breast examination can be done but still I would suggest that a gynae check should be done as there is history of breast cancer
