There is two conditions one is GER( Gastroesophageal reflux) and other one is GERD ( Gastroesophageal reflux disease). If child spit out small quantity after every feeds and gaining weight then no need to worry it may be GER. If child spit out more and prolonged or larged quantities or not gaining weight then need to be examined and if needed few test like sonography and other. It may be GERD or other pathology/disease.
Next Steps
consult pediatrician if any of above sign or sypmtoms.
Health Tips
exclusive Breastfeeding till 6 months. atleast 10-15 min burping each time after feeds. head and upper chest in upright position.
