Red patches and itching
I am 29 weeks pregnant. There are round red patches around my groin( but not in groin)n throughout thighs, legs, butt and stomach. There is intense itching and my doc says it cannot b treated till after delivery. Tried a number of doc recommended ointments, n also neem oil and leaves extract, but of no use. plz suggest

Hello, Four vaginal infections, ranging from common to more rare, can affect pregnant women: bacterial vaginosis (BV), yeast infections, Group B Strep (GBS), and trichomoniasis.Most common infection is bacterial vaginosis, which heals on its own sometime. Never sit around in a wet bathing suit. Wear comfortable, cotton underwear that will allow air to circulate. Avoid tight pantyhose or pants, which can cause bacteria-inducing sweat.
