Red painfull sudden lump
Hello my mum has woken up with a painfull lump at the back of her neck left hand side its just all of a sudden appaerd and she is finding it quite painfull especially when I touched it to have a look could you give me some sort or advice or information please

The appearance of sudden lump on the neck indicates that it may be because of some kind of infection.
The lump needs to be examined and thoroughly evaluated and based on that treatment can be given.
