Red marks on penis + tight foreskin
I have phimosis and am not willing to get circumcized due to personal reasons. Recently, the inside of my foreskin itches after masturbation and sometimes yellow stuff comes out with the semen. Today after effort and pulling the skin far back, I noticed small red spots on the penis. I haven't had sexual contact in more than a year

Just like we brush our teeth every day and after meals to remove the food particles lodged between the teeth and to keep them healthy, the penis fore skin also has to be retracted and this makes the closed surface exposed and enables it to be cleaned. One must clean this at every bath and also at passing urine. One must NOT use any soap for cleaning it as it is irritant to the sensitive skin. There are special cells in the inside of the foreskin which produce a sticky whitish cream like substance called smegma. This coats the glans and helps prevent it from getting infected. But it must be removed everyday, and if ir remains there due to inability to clean the surface due to tight phimosis, it will catch infection and cause red spots.
Next Steps
While you may or maynot do circumcision, it is not an operation for anybody and everybody. Some do it for religious purposes as these religions were started by their leaders in places like desert where water was scarce and it was difficult to get it for daily bath and to clean body and penis. Hence out of need to keep hygiene the circumcision was recommended and it became a religious identity. Circumcisions are of various types. You can go for partial circumcision if the need be and this makes the foreskin shorter but easily retractable. Visit a dermatologist for the red spots and get treated. Ask the doctor if you need a circumcision and if he recommends it, you may decide to get it done
