Red itchy genitalia region
I have been suffering from a rather uncomfortable condition. The under/back side of my scrotum / inner thighs have been itching a lot lately. The skin looks like dry scaly skin and when itched falls off exposing a reddish underskin which itches even more. Sometimes a very bad odour also sets in and get me worried.
However i have been washing the region with soap and also with antiseptic liquid from past 2 days. The odour has gone substantially and itch has reduced, but it still itches. Kindly guide!

This sounds like intertrigo. It is a kind of fungal infection affection the skin folds like groin. Donot use soap or dettol or antiseptic on the area. Please call me or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice.
