Red clustered rash on chin spreading up
Rash began little less than a week ago. Began as just itching with no signs of rash or bumps. It grew very quickly. By Monday was obvious red bumps and circles similar to ring worm. Just in my experience ring worm does not cluster in this manner. It has multiplied and began spreading up left side of my face and a few bumps down the left arm. It itches extremely bad. Just need to make sure it is not contagious or if I should seek medical attention. Cortisone has helped with the itching and seems to have lessened the redness.

It is probably fungal infection as I understand  from your description. The treatment for fungal infection is simple. You have to take anti fungal tablets and creams for 4 to 6 weeks following which it resolves. Do not apply soap on that area and do not self treat with over the counter steroid creams. Mistreatment with steroid creams like cortisone and self treatment with cheaper medicine is the most common reason for recurrent disease. Kindly send photos using online consult option for accurate diagnosis and treatment.  If this is fungal infection, it needs to be treated as early as possible as it will spread further on your body  and also to other people in the household.
