I had a navel discharge about six months ago, for which I took antibiotics used creem and then used an antifungal powder (Abzorb Fungal Powder). The symptoms resolved at that time, but I am unsure whether it was a bacterial or fungal infection.
Now, after six months, I am experiencing similar symptoms:
* Reddish discharge from the navel
* Discharge hardens if not cleaned and sticks around the navel
* Foul smell
* No fever or abdominal pain
* Occasionally mild sharp pain only when wearing tight clothes or applying pressure near the area
Could this be a bacterial infection again, a fungal infection, or something else? What tests or treatment do you recommend?
