Rectal Infection?
I was worried about prostate cancer but embarrassed about seeing a doctor, so I tried a self examination in the rectum but forgot to wash my hands before the examination. Because of this I am worried that I have a rectal or anal infection. 2 days later I have a mild pain in the anus every 2 minutes. Since I already have a yet to be diagnosed bowel problem, the symptoms defined online of an infection would be unnoticeable. How likely is this and would it be serious?
