Recrrunt Apthous ulcer

Asked for Male, 28 Years

I have RBC:- 4.48, MCH:-32.8, monocytes:-0.07, all remaining are in normal range. I am having recrrunt Apthous ulcer in mouth along with tongue and very sensitive mouth. What can be diagnosis? It can be onset of macrocytic animia?

RBC, MCH, monocytes count mentioned is within normal limits for your age and gender. Recurrent aphthous ulcers are multifactorial.

Next Steps

In specific to rule out macrocyclic anemia the following tests would be beneficial: Peripheral smear B12 and folate levels.
