Rapid Rise in NT Pro BNP
I have been feeling breathless I went for NT pro BNP the reading was 88. Six hours later it was reported and it was 132. I rushed to ER due to breathless, my Echo came normal and there in Emergency normal BNP was done it was below 5.
Then why my NT ProBNP fluctuated like this ? It was never fluctuated like this.

Get yourself thoroughly investigated if you are feeling breathless especially on exertion. Don't rely too much on BNP or NT pro BNP for any Conclusion.these tests are only for doctor to differentiate between causes of shortness of breath.
