Range of pus & epi cells in 7mths baby
My son had fever and cold for few days and later my doctor asked me to take a urine test for my son and the results showed 6-8 hpf of pus cells and 5-6 hpf of epithet cells. Is it under range or is there any problem in it. Other than that all the other readings are normal and good.

Your son may have urine infection but 6-8 pus cells are not sufficient to tell whether he definitely has or not.look for other signs like difficulty in passing urine ,increased frequency etc
Next Steps
do a repeat urine examination if fever persisting
Health Tips
wash the genital area with plain water before giving sample
