Raised heart beat when laying down flat
I am having a first time and weird behaviour from my body. It feels like something is stuck in my throat and the problem rises when I lay down for hours in the night for sleep. I woke up in the mid night with the heartburn and increased heart rate then after walking for some time, my heart beat comes to normal. Please help me to find it out what is the issue. I had feeling the problem of acidity from the last year also. Is that becuase of acid reflux or something else. Kindly help me out. Thanks in advance.

It may definitely be due to acid reflux, especially if associated with hiatus hernia. Hiatus hernia is a condition when a part of stomach herniates into the chest cavity through a weak spot in the diaphragm.
Next Steps
Please have regular meals and avoid spicy food . Avoid smoking and alcohol if you are habituated to. Raise the head end of bed for the time being. You may consult me online on Practo for further management if necessary .
