Just response  of the body,s immune  system to the vaccine. If no breathlessness,  restlessness,  chest tightness, skin rashes or any other such problem, nothing to worry. Take tab cetrrizine 5mg one morning and one evening for 3 days Tab Omnacortil 20mg one morning for 5 days.

Hello,  The redness and itching  at the rabies vaccine site after the 3rd dose are **common local reactions** and not typically dangerous. These symptoms occur due to your immune system's normal response to the vaccine.  What You Should Know: 1. Normal Reactions:    - Mild redness, swelling, itching, or pain at the injection site.     - Usually resolves within 1–2 days.  2. When to Be Concerned:    - Severe swelling, spreading rash, difficulty breathing, or high fever.     - If symptoms worsen or persist beyond 48 hours.  Immediate Care: Apply a cold compress (ice pack wrapped in cloth) to reduce redness/itching.  Avoid scratching the area to prevent infection.  Take paracetamol (not NSAIDs like ibuprofen) if discomfort persists.  Important: - Do not stop the vaccine series—rabies is fatal if untreated.  - If you develop dizziness, facial swelling, or breathing issues, seek emergency care.  For further guidance, consult me personally to ensure proper follow-up.
