It depends on the days passed after dog bite
And it shld be taken intradermal 2 doses on. Day 0 day and day 3 and day 7 and last dose on day 28 ..plus immunoglobulin ingection for rabees total 8 doses.. kindly consult near doctor as rabies is deadliest disease thank you

Pre exposure vaccine is given on 0day,7th day and either on 21st or 28th day.
I assume you are planning for your son as a preventive measure
