4 months after rabbies comolete primary vaccination I again exposed by dog bite... Should I take booster dose.। govt hospital Dr told not required as within 6months . Bt some Dr says booster required if more than 3 months . What is true. ।plz suggest

Dear practo user Individuals exposed to rabies who have previously received a full pre-exposure or post-exposure vaccination series should receive two booster doses of rabies vaccine: one dose immediately (day 0) and one dose on day 3. Rabies immunoglobulin is not necessary for these individuals.

Hello If you are bitten no matter the duration You need to take two booster doses , depend on your prior status in some pt 4shots are recommended..it is always better to take a booster
