QUERY REGARDING POTASSIUM LEVEL

Asked for Female, 71 Years

Dear sir/Madam, My mother is 71 years old she also Diabetic, She has recovered from minor Covid 19. As per precautions I have done her full body checkup. She is also taking lavera & ecosprin gold 20 from last 3.5 years. Her Pottasium level is 3.2, Kindly suggest what medications & dose should I start to bring the level of Pottasium in normal range.

Since lower level of potassium is 3.5 you are getting worried I think. If she doesn't have signs of hypokalemia that is low potassium like muscle twitching muscle weakness abnormal heart rhythm nothing to worry. Repeat potassium after a week along with renal function test.
