Query About Stromal Keratitis
Doc,I Had Conjunctivitis.I Was Treated by A Local Eye Doc Who Don't Have Slit Lamp With Him. Him Prescribed Me Some Eye Drops. However, From Doubting, After 3-4 Months,I Went To Another Doc.The Second Doc Has Slit Lamp With Him.He Diagnosed Me With "L/E Stromal Keratitis" by Slit Lamp Examination. He Also Told Me That Small White Spots Appeared in My Cornea. For The Spots, He Prescribed Me A Lubricant Gel Called "Hylo Gel" And Also Prescribed Me Some Drops For The Stromal Keratitis. However, I Was Used The Gel Approximately For 7-10 Months And After 1 Year,I Went To The Same Second Opthalmologist (Who Was Diagnosed Me With Stromal Keratitis And Small White Spots in Cornea). Then He Told Me That Many Of The Spots Are Faint And He Wrote This Spot As "L/E Stromal Opacity" in The Diagnosis Section. Now,If There Has Scar Due To Stromal Keratitis With The Small White Spots,Will Any Eye Doc Be Able To Understand It? And Will The Scar (Due To Stromal Keratits)Be Visible With Naked Eye? Pls Ans.
