T4 oral malignancy is a advanced stage of disease. Prognosis depends on involvement of important structures, experience of surgeon and post operative radiation and chemotherapy. Usually if surgery and post operative management is done properly you can expect 5 year survival of 50 to 60 percent. Cosmetic outcome are universal not very good if bones are involved. Good Reconstruction can give reasonable cosmetic outcomes. Cosmetic outcomes always depends on area of cancer involvement and extent of cancer excision
