Queries regarding hyperthyroidism
Hello doctors, greetings!! I recently got my mother's health check up done where here thyroid levels were found to be abnormal. Levels T3: 3.03 T4: 18.04 TSH:. 0.01 I went to a ayurvedic doctor, where said they will start ayurvedic treatment and see if body responds to this or not otherwise need to go to allopathy. After 2 weeks ( day before yesterday) when tested again T3: 2.95 T4: 14.94 TSH : 0.01 My ayurvedic doctor recommended to check with allopathic doctor once. I visited 1 endocrinologist he asked get Tc99 scan done, and prescribed to have ciplar la 40mg. When I checked ciplar does not seem to be related to thyroid. Also, Tc99 thyroid scan really needed for it? Also he said some kind of blood test has Tobe done which costs around 5k? Can you please guide?

Stop Ayurvedic treatment probably affects the test. Get antibody blood test done.
