PVD and risk of tear

For a young individual with PVD commencement with symptoms of floaters, how long the individual is at risk of retinal traction or tear. How long does it take for the risk of tear getting over in case no other symptoms except floaters develop? How long does it take for the PVD process to get completed.

There are no hard and fast rules! Just get a regular retinal examination done. Traction on the retina needs to be evaluated periodically with depression while doing an IDO. An. OCT. also helps in documenting the progress.
