Puppy bite on thumb
I was bitten by my puppy when it was 20 days old. It was a light scratch but bled a little when pressed. I Did not take any vaccine then.
It has been 10 years and i still have my dog. What should i do now?
I am very anxious. Read that rabies can happen after 25 years of bite.
What should i do? Cannot stop thinking about it. Please help.

Yes, rabies can occur even after 25 years of exposure.... I pray , u stay safe. But nvr neglect any animal bite/ scratch.
For now, u can go for pre exposure prophylaxis. But it will not resist the previous event, if rabies virus is already in Ur body.
