How a common man will know that his problem of confusion or convulsion is a psychiatric disorder or a neurological disorder in order to consult the Specialist Doctor?

Well these two terms are completely different. If you are confused between non convulsive seizures and confusion , than obviously you should go to a neurologist.In any case ,a neurologist will first rule out any organic cause and only than you will be reffered to a psychiatrist.
