Psoriasis/eczema
Good morning sir/madam, My father is suffering from allergy. But there is no clarity whether it is psoriasis or eczema. Initially he had taken allopathy treatment but due to repeated occurrences, now shifted to ayurvedic. Sir/madam can you tell me how to identify that the allergy is healing or not. There is liquid discharge, swelling and skin is peeling off with with sometimes shivering. Based on this can you suggest me what to do next?

Hi, whether psoriasis or eczema, both are long term issues,  they can tend to recur for months or even years. Its best you see a qualified dermatologist near you in person or can take initially online consultation.  But definitive diagnosis may require skin tests like histopathology or allergic skin patch testing.  Warm regards,  Dr Govind S Mittal,  Therapeia skin hair and ENT centre,  Bengaluru.
