Prolonged vaginal bleeding

I'm a 32 year old female, i have two children (3 & 1 - natural birth and c-section) and had an iud fitted last year (sept). haven't had any problem with it at all and never experienced irregular or bleeding inbetween periods. on the 9th this month i started spotting right on time as i expected my period. it tapered off after a few days but i continued to spot up until yesterday when my bleeding increased and i expelled several small dark blood clots i have very mild back pain, a little itching
