Prolactin hormone increases
My wife suffering from high level of prolactin, i.e. 38.10 ng/ml, its causes infertility, I already contact 4 - 5 doctors for consultation but treatment is same - cabergoline 0.25 mg twice a week & other common medicine like consevel, hcg 10000 units injection & others. Any thing will be wrong in medicines or why the level is not decrease permanently. Prolactin level is differ from time to time, i.e. 54, 48, 19, 26, 21 & now is 38. High prolactin levels could be due to nodules on pituitary gland which are oversecreting. Cabgolin may be needed for 2 to 5yrs or until she is pregnant. Consult an endocrinologist
