Problems with lemon essential oil

I have use lemon essential oil in my belly button as suggested online for getting rid of marks on skin and all dark skin tone but when ever i apply one drop or 2 drops in my belly button i felt like something went wrong like aching in my tummy nd i ll become more worried about that pls suggest me what can i do pls
