Problems of clonazepam use for 14 months
I was given 0.25 mg clonazepam for 14 months . Now I have quoted it 20 days ago by slowly tampering. I wasn't informed about the tablets risks by anyone. Now when I see the potential treat of using clonazepam longterm , it scares me. In many studies it was shown to have permanent cognitive deficits , in some studies even caused sexual dysfunction. I fear about it affecting gaba receptors . Many say clonazepam has only temporary effects but I have used it for about 14 months ( 0.25 mg clonazepam once a day). So will I suffer from permanent deficits in sexual health. I am in search of information. Many psychiatrist are denying about any side effects. I just don't know whom to trust. My mind says maybe the doctors don't know correctly about the side effects of clonazepam . Please help . Also I can't afford for clinical visits.

If u can’t trust the experts in the field then no answer would satisfy you. Problem of today’s patients is that they trust ‘google doctor’ more than the doctors who have studied for years and seen so many patients. If u think you know better than the doctors then just be it. Why do u want to keep asking the doctors the same question?
