Problem swalloing saliva
I am 86 yr old male.. I am suffering problem of saliva intake.. When i intake saliva it causes a light pain in throat..but not in fooding n drinking... I went 2 an ent doc ..he tells me ur throat is conjusted n tell me 2 go for higher center. Then i went 2 another ent doc..he suggested me to do mri..i hav mri .MRI report is normal.. Enlarged thyroud gland with colloid nodules.. No mass n lympdynapathy seen.. I hv taken many antibiotics antiallergies  But no improvement.. Nw i am taking antacid n multivitamins tab Sir i want 2 knw wht sort of disease is this.. May chances of malignancy or other thing. Plz suggest me..

Since your MRI is normal you seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to take antibiotics anti reflux medications for few weeks to months for long lasting benefits
