Prevent groin rashes
While jogging or brisk walking, often I get ball/inner thigh rashes and it becomes red. How do I prevent it?

This is probably because of friction and sweating. If the area is wet use an antifungal dusting powder before you go jogging. Don't rub or itch the area vigorously when having a bath. Use a mild cleanser like moiz or episoft cleanser to wash the area. Use a soft under garment that fits you well when you jog. Also try to change your jogging motion to a more convenient pace where you do not jump too much. On the abaraded area you can apply siloderm cream when you are not jogging, after you have a bath. Wear loose undergarment when you are not jogging and a tight snug one when you jog. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
