Dear Doctor,
I had noticed a thin layer of oil in the toilet basin after pooping 2 3 times last month. I have no abdominal pain/dysentery/constipation issue. I visited a gastro doctor who ordered a stool routine and occult blood test.
The following are the findings.
Stool - Solid
Occult blood - Negative
RBC - 4 to 6 hpf
Pus cells - 4 to 6 hpf
Vegetable cells - present
Bacteria - present.
Is the report normal? Kindly give your advice.

Normally RBC's and pus cells indicate an infection. If you have no symptoms then can ignore the report.
Next Steps
1. In case of persistent presence of oil in stools then can check stool for fat globules.
2. if other reports like CBC and LFT's are normal, then no need to investigate further.
