Premature 36weeks baby eye swelling
Hi, My baby born in 28 weeks,at 31st first ROP done and result was zone 2, later 2nd ROP done at 33 week and result was zone 3 immature. 3rd ROP Scheduled for 4th Nov, but from last 5 days I observed my baby left upper eye little bigger than right eye, don't know it is swelling or any other issue please help me here. Hi... I'm very glad that appropriate screening for ROP is being done for your baby. With regards to the possible swelling of left upper lid - it does not look red or inflamed in the photos provided.
Next Steps
If possible, kindly prepone the next ROP screening where the eye specialist can evaluate the possible eye swelling along with the screening of the retina.
