My gf and I had a sex on 7th and 8th Jan with safety. After a day she said that she is feeling something in her stomach, might be due to accidity or i fertilize her eggs. She checked some app and told me that 7th was the most fertile period for her and she might be pregnant. She took I-pill next day, to avoid unwanted pregenancy. Last day she also did test with prega news to be sure and the result were neagtive(not pregnant). We are still not sure that she is pregnant or not as 35 days have not passed from her last period date, which was 17th dec. Her period cycle is of 40 days. How should we check and get sure that is she is pregnant or not?

Since u say her period cycle is 40 days .
Wait till expected date of periods.
In case it misses.
Do a urine pregnancy test at home with early morning first urine sample and in case negative and still u want confirmation
Do a blood test of beta hcg for accurate results.
In case negative.
Initiate a direct consultation for prescription of tablets to get periods.
