Pregnancy X-ray exposure

Asked for Female, 24 Years

Surya had X-rays exposure during early pregnancy. She had chest xray as part of annual health check.At the time of exposure baby is 4 weeks old and she didn't know that she is pregnant. She had scanning yesterday and it is said that baby is 6 weeks 3 days old. Is baby safe? Is it safe to continue the pregnancy?

Hey,don't worry she can continue pregnancy , one x Ray doesn't harm the baby . ultrasound scan will detect any gross anomolies if present. Do regular scans as and when its required .
