Pregnancy?
I am diagnosed with dermographism in Oct 15.since then I am on anti allergic medicines.i can't stop becoz the intensity of dermographism increases a lot.will this effect my pregnancy?I am now married for 2.5 years.is it harmful to take antiallergic med for long?

Hi. Most anti allergic tablets are relatively safe in pregnancy . please see your dermatologist and gynecologist the safest and best one for you. Usually chlorpheniramine maleate is preferred. Use soothing lotions like calamine to reduce itching. You can take medicines without affecting your married life. Take care. Warm regards Dr Govind Suresh Mittal
