I feel that I'm pregnat as my last period date was 2 jan so do I need to wait for my periods or I have to do the pregnancy test.

Yes you have to do UPT, and if comes to negative and if you do not have any complain then you can wait for 1wk. Otherwise you should consult Gynaecologist.
