My friend having only one ovary, now she is pregnant 8 weeks. What is role of ovary during pregnancy? With only one ovary, any special medications to be taken? Thanks.

Hello...... She got pregnant with one ovary, it is good news because it's difficult usually.. Ovary produce progesterone until placenta forms completely... But you don't have to worry doc will prescribe progesterone tablet which will maintain hormonal level , take her to gynecologist ......
