Hi!
i just went through the case. it seems that the sonologist must have mentioned an echogenic cardiac focus and a single umbilical artery in the scan which i am presuming would be in the level 2 scan that is the target scan.
now echogenic cardiac focus is commonly found in the asiatic populations and to rule out we advice fetal echocardiography at 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Regarding single umbilical artery, 75% babies do not have problems but it may be associated with some cardiac anomalies or some genetic abnormalities or some growth restrictions so we can only do a regular monitoring by sonographies.
