If husband and wife have same blood group does it affect a child? I heard that If husband and wife have same blood group then their child may suffers from thelassamia. Is it true?

No.. It's not true...The thalassemias are inherited disorders of Hb synthesis that result from an alteration in the rate of globin chain production nothing related to blood groups of parents. A decrease in the rate of production of a certain globin chain or chains (α, β, γ, δ) impedes Hb synthesis and creates an imbalance with the other, normally produced globin chains. Regards
