Preemie staying awake & always hungry
My premature baby was born on 33 weeks 5 days. It's been 50 days since her birth. From last 10 days she is always hungry even after each feed & does not sleep the whole day.Earlier she use to sleep after each feed & was not hungry after each feed. Now,even at night she hardly sleeps 4- 5 hours.Although she has gained a good amount of weight & her weight is increasing. My concern is why she is always hungry after each feed & why she sleeps so less?

Hi don’t worry, if baby is gaining weight adequately, and passing 6 to 8 times urine, there is not much problem See to that the baby is feeding for atleast 10 to 15 minutes from one breast and then give the feeds from the second one So that the baby gets fat content to satisfy the hunger Then burping is necessary after each feed
