Whta is idial  gap to test FBG.??a patient FBG is 97 after 11 hour fasting..is he test fbg in 9-10 hour it can vary??  Or  he wil be prediabetic????..he was 24 yr age heights 165 cm weigt 75 kg..he told that he test 3 yr ago that time his  FBg 102...what should do ??..i am littel bit worried..if i will have diabetes such age

Get hba1c or a OGTT done to be sure specially if u are overweight or have family history of diabetes

HI 102 is slightly high but 97 is normal Pre-diabetes = Fasting levels from 100 to 125 and 2hr Post meal glucose levels from 140 to 199 For height of 165 the ideal weight would be 65kg. For ideal Testing: fast for 8 hours for a 'Fasting glucose' Do not fast for any longer than 12 hours, as this may affect your test.
Next Steps
try to loose 3kg from your current weight of 75kg it will help reduce sugar levels and prevent future Diabetes.
