Preanal Hematoma - sudden appearance
I was sitting for a long time and then suddenly felt some discomfort near the anal region. On inspection I noticed a lump appeared. It was mildly painful for the first 4 days but now it's not painful and bothers me when I sit or stand for a long time. I could feel a drop of a hard lump. Does this require a surgical procedure or will it heal on its own? Since 1 week I am not seeing it decreases in size though pain has reduced.  There is no pain in pressing it now. Please suggest. Photo attached for reference.
