Post viral recovery
My son suffered a liver and spleen expansion as a side effect of Viral fever. All tests (LFT, CBC, HIV, Heptatis, Dengue) have come normal. He however is very cranky, hardly eats, hardly walks, keeps crying all the time. I am sorry if my question appears stupid but how long does it take for kids, in cases such as his, to get back to normalcy. For a baby who would hardly sit, its painful to see this side of his. Our pediatrician and gastroenterologist says it takes time to recover and gain strength, its already 3 weeks and we hardly see any change in behavior or retraction of swollen stomach. Would be great if any of you can provide clarity and some assurance. Thanks.
