Post Lap Hernia surgery
Hi, i hav undergone laproscopic surgery for inguinal Hernia. However after 10 days, started having fever and chills. On diagnosis, found out that , i have infection and pus formation at mesh area. Pus is sterile and no bacteria found. Doctor says my body is rejecting mesh and hence pus/ infection and mesh to be removed by second surgery. Do i hav any option than second surgery and mesh removal .? Please advise. Also after mesh removal, will i have Inguinal Hernia again ? Looking for suggestions. Pls help.

Hello...... Mesh  is required to strengthen the wall, in direct hernia this is done to prevent  the recurrence of hernia..  Doctor will the mesh  allergy,  mesh  is made of inert metal which  don't react with external agent..  But if you are really allergic  to it then they will remove it...
